Instead of listing who you want to receive your tangible personal property in your Will, the Indiana Probate Code allows for the use of a separate memorandum to distribute your tangible personal property. Your Will must reference this memorandum so that it can take effect. Below is a sample form that we provide to our clients after we have prepared their Last Will and Testament to distribute their tangible personal property:
